Phew!! What a whirlwind of a week it has been for everyone! With schools and activities closed I know you are working hard to find ways to support your students, while also trying to figure out the new normal for your own family.
It’s a lot and I want to HELP!

Daily directed drawings LUNCH DOODLES with Mo Willems! Each day at noon, Mo Willems leads kids in easy directed drawings to create his most beloved characters- Pigeon, Piggy, Gerald and more! Honestly, it’s so much fun for adults, too!
30 Virtual Field Trips We may be stuck at home, but there are many places we can “visit” from the comfort of our couch! This site lists all wonderful and amazing places that are offering virtual tours. Happy Travels!

RAZ-KIDS Get FREE access to their digital library which includes hundreds of leveled books and corresponding quizzes offered at 29 levels of reading difficulty.
EPIC! Grab unlimited access to over 35,000 ebooks, videos, quizzes and more! The titles they offer are AWESOME!
BrainPOP Brainpop offers over 1,000 different animated short videos on all different topics, educational games, and quizzes. They also offer BrainPOP Jr. for k-3, as well as BrainPOP ELL.
Vooks A kid-friendly, ad-free streaming library of animated storybooks. Think of it like Netflix for children’s books!
PRINTABLE ACTIVITIES
There are a TON of wonderful, free activities being offered on the Teachers Pay Teachers website. These are just a few of my favorites…
Word List Activities (K-3) Grab 5 different spelling activity pages that can be used to practice any spelling or sight words.
Listen and Learn Activities At Home (K-2) Students listen, color, and write based on a variety of ELA and Math skills. Each activity is approximately 18 to 19 minutes! Kristin has been so generous to add a second set for free: Listen and Learn at Home SET 2.
At Home Reading Challenge (K-2) A fun reading challenge that encourages students (of any age and any reading level) to read the materials that they have at home in a new and exciting way.
At-Home Learning Menus (2nd-5th) These learning menus have fun activities for kids to do around the house. You can grab three menus that can be used over three weeks.
Mandalas Coloring Therapy (3rd grade+) These coloring pages are a quiet, calming activity that is best for kids ages 9 and up.
3 Weeks of Maker Stations by Brooke Brown @Teach Outside the Box Wow! This resource includes 15 engaging design challenges that elementary students can complete using materials they have at home.
I hope the resources I’ve shared today will help you, your students and their families. This is a stressful and uncertain time, but it has been amazing to see all the ways that teachers and schools have stepped up to the plate and gone the extra mile to make sure their students continue to learn.
