Editable Name Practice – Fine Motor Name Activities
Editable name activities and fine motor practice all in one engaging resource!
Included in this resource are 10 different hands on activities designed to help your learners recognize, learn to spell and write their names (names up to 12 letters).
I created this resource as an editable “auto fill” document as a way to save you hours of time while personalizing each page for your students. Once you type your students names into the class list, you simply print the pages that you want.
NOTE: You will need the program Adobe reader to edit these pages. Get it here for free. All names are editable, however the fonts CANNOT be changed in type or size.

Great resources for kindergarten as well as students who continue to struggle to write their names. I also used it in grade 1 and printed it multiple times for students who still stuggled with spelling their name.

I love this product. I laminate each name and use it for morning work as the students arrive. It gives them daily practice on formulating letters, tall letters should be tall, short letters short and basement letters in the basement. It helps me focus on one or two things with each student so they can improve their handwriting and when they have mastered those, I can move on to a new letter(s).

The format is horrible. I cannot use it. Last year I typed in each child’s name and printed each individual page. This year I have given up and will not even use it.

Hi Angela,
I am sorry you are having difficulty, I have some suggestions that will likely solve your problem.
If you open the file in your internet browser, temporary files. or downloads the autofill features will not work!
You MUST open the PDF in your Adobe reader- it can be tricky, I made a quick video so you can verify it is open in Adobe https://youtu.be/Hdy_FZXD32I
Here is how to open:
Download and save the file to your computer.
Open the file: it should automatically open in your Adobe Reader- if it does not, right click the file name and choose: Open in Adobe. If for some reason you don’t have the free reader installed on your computer, http://get.adobe.com/reader/otherversions/
Feel free to email me if you need more help! [email protected]
