Folded Books Writing Prompts {Winter Edition}

Here is a highly engaging NO PREP writing center perfect for your K-2 classroom! These writing prompts can be used at your literacy centers and will last you the whole Winter season! I print several copies and store them in a file folder with a copy mounted on the front so my students can easily choose a creative prompt for their story (these folders will last year after year). Students choose a prompt and fold their paper into fourths and they have an instant book!

There are 11 different Winter picture prompts (Christmas, New Years, snowmen, winter animals, etc). I have also included a blank folded book page for your students to draw their own pictures to match their story. Each prompt comes with 2 styles of lined paper to choose from. Also included is an anchor chart you can post to remind students of good writing habits.
