More About This Resource
This resource is a free sample of my full Decodable Passages with Comprehension Questions resource. These decodable passages with comprehension questions are the perfect resource for beginning readers. Each passage is a phonics-based controlled text that contains target phonics skill words, previously taught phonics skill words and irregular high frequency words. The students I used this resource with are extremely deficient with their sounds, and blending them together. We work together with the CVC sounds, and they are able to use these small passages to help the code and tell what the story is about.
