This is a great way to help build students’ confidence in writing. They enjoyed hunting for the pictures and the challenge of writing the words.
Dizzy for Kindergarten –
My students love doing these more than a boring spelling worksheet. I change the directions a little bit, so they have to WRITE the word on top of the picture, instead of coloring it. Then we get that reading AND spelling reinforcement – plus I can tell if they read the word correctly or not!
Love that I can introduce it once, and then just change the skill!
Jen L. –
