Hello friend! I'm Christina!

I’m so glad you’re here. I’m a former 1st grade & mentor teacher, founder of Lead in Literacy. You might say I was born to be a teacher. Even as a child, I knew I wanted to teach and inspire young minds. (Was I the girl who taught her stuffed animals the alphabet? You bet!) I’m proud to say I’m a first-generation college graduate who went on to get my Masters Degree in Early Childhood Education.

Like many teachers, I am a lifelong learner! That’s why I’ve completed LETRS®, The Reading Teacher’s Top 10 Tools, and countless other literacy related trainings. I believe EVERY student deserves to grow and thrive—and that starts with empowering their teachers with professional development training and literacy resources that are evidence-based, effective, and engaging.
