I used this for distance learning. Each day I added one of these slides to my daily math assignments. It allowed the students to continue to practice the value and coin identification daily. This is such a great resource and the students really enjoyed it!

This would have been great to assign one puzzle a day as a quick class warm-up, or as an early finisher activity. HOWEVER, I did not realize (and it did not even cross my mind to consider) that this product uses American coins. I saw this product advertised in a “tpt forum for Ontario teachers” Facebook group, so I assumed it would be using Canadian coins. I ended up not using this product. I would recommend clearly stating in the title the currency of the coins in the product.

This was great! It was really tough for my students and it made them think about each direction. It was a great addition to my coins section of functional math.

My daughter absolutely loved these! She’s finishing up second grade. The logic part was a little easy for her, but it was great practice with naming coins and remembering their values.

Great activity to use with early finishers, as enrichment, in a center while pulling small groups, or even to print and use at home with real coins
